In mid-2014 I finished my Integrated Master Degree in Environmental Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon University. Since the beginning of my master thesis (2013) I have been working in research projects at IST, all related with water quality modelling and monitoring in coastal areas. In 2015 I started my PhD, in the CERis R&D institution , as part of the doctoral program H2Doc, a joint initiative between Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). My PhD theme is " Mathematical modelling of fate and transport of pharmaceuticals in aquatic systems".
